The first thing you want to do when setting up your college planner. Is putting all the days you have work and class in your weekly schedule.
This way you can visually see if you have plans and be able to rearrange your schedule.
Secondly, I cannot emphasize the importance of looking at your schedule. The day before a new month begins I take the time to browse my Syllabi and implement it within my planner.
Another tip is to color code your classes for instance purple is math, and all assignments and tests will be in purple.

This may sound a bit silly but very necessary for anybody. Find the time to fit in your schedule to focus on yourself.
Sometimes I feel like screaming and having this time lets me calm myself down and focus on what makes me happy like a book or favorite tv show.
