Summer is a great time to learn what you like or don't like, and it's a good way to build your resume. I have worked nearly every job you could think of since I was 15.
So I'm going to share some non-boring jobs to do this summer that my friends and I enjoyed.

Summer Job Ideas For College Students:
Nanny
This is probably my number 1 choice if you are looking for a summer job. I've spent many of my weekends and school breaks babysitting. I got paid extremely well for driving kids around and making sure they are taken care of. I had the good of luck using Care.com!
After creating a profile explaining my babysitting experiences and apply to all the jobs that fit my schedule.
I applied to tons of positions, and eventually, I did meet different families. There are numerous families in need of sitters during the summer. If you keep applying, you are bound to find your family.
Bar Cart Girl
Let me tell you; you can get paid really well as a bar cart girl at your local golf course. You serve alcoholic drinks to older gentlemen while they're out playing.
Fast Food
I know most people don't like working fast food, but it's probably one of the most straightforward jobs I've had.
It's not the most glamorous job, but time flies by during lunch hour.
Camp Counselor
I loved being a camp counselor. You get close with your other counselor, and the kids make it ten times fun
If you didn't go camp while when you were younger, now it's your chance to live out that experience and get paid for it.
Movie Theater
I had the opportunity to work at Regal Cinemas, and I had such an amazing time. They were able to work around my schedule and paid me very well.
The only downside to working in the movie theater is there is a lot of quiet time between movie sets. Bonus: FREE MOVIE TICKETS and HALF OFF CONCESSIONS.
Daycare Teacher
Daycares are usually in need of summer staff because of an increase in attendance. Most Daycare's put up ad's on Care.com, so that's where I would check if there's any availability.
Lifeguard
I have never been a lifeguard, but I know some people who absolutely enjoyed it. You have to do lifeguard training and obtain your car certificate, but other than that, it's worth it.
Pet Sitting
If you are an animal lover, this job if for you. Rover has access to thousands of jobs for dog walkers and pet sitters. This service is free for those who sign up.
Gym Receptionist
If you are looking for a gym membership this summer, why not work at the gym. This will save you a lot of money and gives you the chance to hit up the gym.
Bartender
If you are above legal age, this job is great for you. You could make great tips and get to talk to new people.
Driver
If you have a car, earn this job is for you. Become a Uber driver and work at your own pace.
Internship
Most internships for college students are during the summer. Ask your college if there's a paid internship available for your major that could also be used for college credit. You can also search for paid internships on Internships.com to see what's available near you.
Housesitters
I have never done this before, but I am planning on trying it out. It's great for anyone who is interested in looking to travel this summer.
All you have to do is to make sure to take care of someone's home and, most of the time looking after their pet. You can check out some house sitting jobs on Trusted Housesitters.
Start A Blog
I have absolutely loved starting my blog. You can look back on some past posts all about how to start making money on your own blog and all about my journey so far. I explain you step by step guide on how to create a successful blog on your own.
Theme Park Attendant
This would be a fun job to have during the summer. My dream is to work at Disney for a semester through the Disney College Program.
I heard it's an amazing experience, and you could have free admissions into the parks and discounts on food and merchandise.
Personal Assistant
Another great job is working as a PA for the summer. Many people are looking for an assistant to help with daily tasks.
